Wherever you are in the world, and whether or not it is 2012 yet where you are, a very Happy New Year from all the team at UKNova!!!
Merry Christmas to you all, whoever you are, whereever you are!
/The UKNova Team
'Tis the season to be merry and we will be kicking it off in style with a Meet-up in a central London pub next Friday 16th Dec. The meet-up will be at The Green Man 383 Euston Road from about 7pm.
There will be fun for all, including a Secret Santa and other surprises on the night.
If you can't be there, we will be broadcasting UKNova Radio live from the pub, so tune in from 7pm GMT until we fall over or we get kicked out.
More details can be found HERE
Yes the Awards are over, the Staff are sweeping up the confetti and taking all the empty champagne bottles to the bottle-bank.
The whole glittering evening will be uploaded as a torrent in the coming hours, hopefully a synchronised IRC log will also be available sometime on Monday.
In the meantime the list of winners is HERE
Congratulations to all the winners (and the nominees, all were worthy of winning) and thanks to Ackerdackerly and the whole team of presenters for their hard work. Huge thanks to Chimp and Spudgun for making it all happen two years in a row.
Yes, the moment is finally here to find out who has won a coveted UKNova Award! There are member awards, site awards, TV & Radio show awards and much, much more. Your host for the ceremonies will be Ackerdakelry, radio virtuoso and American legend. But that's not all; there will be a host of celebrity guest to present the awards, performing dogs and a special appearance by Clodagh Rogers (Note from the editor, there appears to be some confusion here between the UKNova awards and the 1971 BAFTAs).
The show begins Sunday December 11th at 7pm UK time (1pm Central US).
An hour prior to that, Eddy and AliceB will be hosting an hour of pre-show inside info and celebratory buildup all the way from Cairo. So if you want to find out who won a gong and what the users of UKNova think is the best TV show EVER, tune in tomorrow to http://uknr.org to find out!!
